Cal-Aurum Industries was founded in 1971 by Paul Ginder, in the city of Westminster, California. Mr Ginder had worked as a Plating Engineer for Hughes Aircraft Corporation and later for Burton Plating Company, both in the Los Angeles area. In the early days, the company plated many items ranging from bathroom fixtures to circuit boards, as it worked to find its niche in the marketplace.
